Our replacement Chrysler throttle bodies are for the Chrysler 300C 3.0 CRD V6 diesel (2005–2012), saloon and estate. The 300C diesel uses the Mercedes-Benz OM642 V6 engine, so the same throttle body also fits the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander 3.0 CRD and many Mercedes-Benz 3.0 V6 CDI models. Is It Your Throttle Body?
Engine warning light with reduced power and a throttle or intake fault code.
Uneven running at idle, or the engine cuts out when stopping.
Flat spot or delay when you press the accelerator.
On diesels the throttle closes to stop the engine smoothly. A sticking flap can cause a judder.

Does this fit my Chrysler 300C 3.0 CRD?
Yes. A6420900270 fits the 300C 3.0 CRD saloon (2005–2012) and estate (2005–2010), in both the 211 hp and 218 hp versions. Check the part number on your old unit to be sure.
Why does a Mercedes part fit my Chrysler?
The 300C 3.0 CRD uses the Mercedes-Benz OM642 V6 diesel engine. The throttle body is the same unit fitted to the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander 3.0 CRD, and to Mercedes models such as the E-Class, ML and Sprinter 3.0 V6.
Will it fit a petrol 300C or the 5.7 HEMI?
No. Petrol engines use a different throttle body. Contact us with your registration and we'll check what we can supply.
Do I need to code or adapt it after fitting?
Clear the fault codes and run a throttle adaptation with a diagnostic tool after fitting. This helps the engine idle and respond correctly.
