The Ford KA 1.2 MK2 is the Fiat 500 1.2 8v with a different body shell but sharing the issue with the rear axle. My rear axle fractured along coil spring cup March 2025. This rear axle was sold to me with a 10yr guarantee May 2024. I had purchased original shocks, new coils, coil upper mounts, new axle upper mounts, new bump stops and genuine new bolts. The bolts alone cost £150. I paid my local Garage to fit and was charged £200 with a £20 tip. The parts are on the car and the car with new parts is very smooth - no issues with fitting. Time will tell if part is a good replacement but no issues at present. The axle after unwrapping was found to have a couple of brake brackets slightly bent that was easy to correct. One thing for sure without a new rear axle the car was going nowhere.
