How to Choose the Right Skoda Door Lock
- Find the OE number on the label of your old lock and match it in the table above.
- Confirm the door: front or rear, and right (driver side on UK cars) or left (passenger side).
- Count the connector pins (6, 7 or 9). The plug on the new lock must match your car's wiring.
- Still unsure? Send our team your registration or VIN, or a photo of the old lock and label. The fitment check is free.

Skoda Door Lock FAQs
Why do Skoda door locks have VW part numbers?
Skoda is part of the VW Group, and many parts, including door locks, are shared with VW, Seat and Audi. That's why the listings name several brands and use VW Group OE numbers.
Where do I find the OE number on my old lock?
It's printed on a label or stamped on the lock body, usually starting with letters and numbers like 3C2837015A. Clean the lock to read it once it's removed, or send us your reg before you start.
Does the pin count matter?
Yes. The new lock must have the same connector as your car's wiring (6, 7 or 9 pins). Count the pins on the old lock's plug before ordering.
Is the actuator part of the latch?
Yes. On these VW Group locks the motor is built into the latch, so you replace the complete lock unit.
