Is an Opel throttle body the same as a Vauxhall one?

Yes, for the same model and engine. Opel and Vauxhall are the same cars with different badges, and they share part numbers. Match the number on your old throttle body.

Why does a Chevrolet appear on some listings?

Some GM engines were also used in Chevrolet models such as the Cruze, Aveo and Captiva, so the same throttle body fits those cars too.

Do I need to relearn the new throttle body?

Usually, yes. Clear any fault codes and run the throttle adaptation so the engine computer learns the new unit. A garage with a diagnostic tool can do this if you can't.
